Yanghwa Hangang Park
Yanghwa Hangang Park
Situated on the southern part of Hangang River, Yanghwa Hangang River Park stretches from the mouth of Yeouido Saetgang Tributary and the Gayangdaegyo Bridge in Gangseo-gu. The park offers a spectacular view enjoyed from a spacious grass lawn created along the riverside. The park boasts its beauty due to its location next to the World Cup Fountain which stands at the world’s tallest height of 202 meters in close proximity to Seongsandaegyo Bridge and and the environmentally-regenerated ecological park of Seonyudo Island across the nearby Seonyugyo Bridge. There is a bike trail that runs through the park connecting the mouth of Yeouido Saetgang Tributary and the Gayangdaegyo Bridge. The side of the bike trail underneath Seonyugyo Bridge is flanked with beautiful roses that come into full blossom in May, attracting couples and families as the ideal spot to take pictures.
